Oct 13, CFF Founder Catherine Freeman and AIEF’s (Australia Indigenous Education Foundation) Chief Executive Andrew Penfold and Scholarship Programme Director, Holly Hart met with Townsville based office Catholic Education and visited Columba College in Charters Towers.
On both occasions, talks focussed around CFF’s partnership with AIEF and our support of six indigenous girls from Palm Island currently boarding at Columba College.
AIEF are now in discussions with Columba to see how together we can assist more Indigenous girls from Pam Island to access boarding places at Columba via CFF.
CFF and AIEF met with staff and students of Columba including those six Palm Island students who are currently attending Columba.
CFF wish to thank and acknowledge AIEF (Andrew Penfold and Holly Hart), Catholic Education (Cathy Day, Thelma Gertz, Ernie Christie, Megan Harrison, Debbie Pardon) and Columba College (Michael Ashton, Colleen Young, Michael McCarthy, Sandra McCabe, Jenny Chappel, James Gaston, Karen Spice, and Kiara Wilson) for their tremendous ongoing support.
