St Catherine presents cheque to CFF
June 23 2009, St Catherines of Toorak Melbourne, presented a cheque for $33,000 to CFF, supporting our programs that focus on Palm Island.
St Catherines raised the money through its trivia and auction May event, as well as through its grade 5 cross country event that took place earlier in the year.
Catherine Freeman and CFF Chairman Andrew Cannon attended school assembly to be presented the cheque from student foundation co-captains Emily Steven and Emily Hamilton. (Whom is must be noted have in fact visited Palm Island last year in November.)
St Catherine’s phenomenal support of CFF exceeded all expectations, and we happily thank and acknowledge Principal Sylvia Walton AO, teacher Melissa Rodgers, the student foundation, and the general St Catherine community.
