CHARITIES

Cottage by The Sea

Since 1895 Cottage by the Sea has provided short term relief care in a holiday environment to children and families in need. Charities of all kinds exist today, where our charity strives to provide for…

The Cottage has helped tens of thousands of children over its long history and as a unique Victorian children’s charity, Cottage by the Sea relies on the generosity of donors, branches, volunteers, business and community groups, trusts and foundations to continue this VITAL work for families in need.

The Inspire Foundation

Inspire creates opportunities for young people aged 16-25 to change their world. By “their world”, we mean whatever is real for them. This could be struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, wanting to do something for their local community or simply experiencing new ways to learn and grow.

For most young people the Internet, and its associated technologies, are like the air they breathe. It’s their communication medium, it’s anonymous, and it’s available 24 hours a day.

Inspire runs three key programs, Reach Out!, ActNow and Beanbag. Young people are actively involved in the development and delivery of all of these programs, ensuring that our work remains relevant to them.
